Not sure what the max size is on the black aro, prolly between 20" & 30", I have one already that is about 18" now.
I will have to go check out wet pets, if its even close to the wet spot its worth going and seeing what they got

What’s up everybody?
I live in Hillsboro so you can add one more to the count.
These are my favorite places:
Wet Pets is an awesome store for the Westside of Portland.
Wet Spot has a humongous selection and is an excellent store. (Can be a little overpriced but their fish are always top shape)
Aquariums Live has some good deals.
And a new one on Powell called Rose City Aquariums I believe, good selection. They had f/w cudas when none of the above mentioned did. Lots of other cool stuff.

It is a Tetraodon turgidus about 4.5" long and he eats market shrimp and nightcrawlers mostly, sometimes snails or clams.

Your not kidding. My dad has already had back and neck surgeries. The neck wasn't concrete related, his brother(big guy 6-3 or 4 and about 250) piledrove(like on fake wrestling)him in our livingroom because he was pissed over there previous business. Anyways, I know what I have coming if I stay in the field(already 5 yrs), but I made the decision to become a partner with my dad in our new business All About Concrete. So i'm going to stick it out untill I make the decision to go to school to become a journalist I hope.
Does anyone here know anyone who would like to own my 17-18 inch black aro? Looking to free some room in my tanks so I can obtain some smaller fish.
Last week I picked up 2 leopard ctenepomas and a girraffe cat from the wet spot, great fish, the leopard are eating and growing like crazy. Also got another group of small clown loaches and yo-yo loaches, and a tiger loach(I am a loach freak).

Mine is not a perfect aro either. It came with the tank I bought, and had nearly no fins at all. Everything has grown back, but not evenly. and his lip fin things are starting to grow back as well, not perfect. I have him on craigslist for 80, to help pay for the rays I am going to order from John at eczs.

The "fins" on the jaw of aros are called Barbells, not sure if that is correct spelling, but gives you an idea.

Well maybe I will just hold on to mine then, its not perfect but its seems to be a sturdy guy, it got its ass kicked by my larger one and I didnt think it had a chance of recovery. But somehow it pulled through and the other one died.
