i've done a little with plants here and there but really want to make a nice display this time. here is what we have to work with:

standard 125g with overflows
4-65w 6700k lighting
20' length of undergravel heat cable (50w I think)
300w heater in sump
130 pounds of flourite
14" Black Piranha
there will be 100+ small tropicals like a school of 70 neons and other assorted Tetras.

please advise on what kinds of plants would work well.

a few shots of the tank and structure.

thanks for any advice cool.gif

Cichlidgeek
Yeah.....well thank you for your fish-sitting services wink.gif

PS-----I vote for massive clumps of Java fern to go in there!!!
hareball
anytime!

the fern is the one I can attach to the wood yeah?
Cichlidgeek
Yeah, you just tie it on with some fishing line and after a few weeks it'll start to root into the wood. Then you snip off the line and it will grow up and around the wood from there smile.gif
hareball
sounds great! I think I have some fishing line around laugh.gif

I would start with some large Amozon Swords.
