Web Leopard Discus Pair - EGGS WHERE LAID ON THE BREEDING CONE LAST NIGHT. BOTH PARENTS ARE FANNING THE EGGS AS I TYPE THIS MESSAGE. Prior to last nights breeding they have laid eggs (that I've noticed) 3 times. The first 2 times where in a community tank - it took me 2 times to be positive on the exact pairing as there where 6 web leopards in the tank and when I went to catch the pair they all started to look alike. The first time they laid eggs a third and forth discus in the tank harrased the pair and eat the eggs within seconds of them being laid. The second time they laid eggs the eggs lasted one day to day and a half before they just disappeared - this was in the community tank and I don't know who was the culprit. The third time they laid eggs (last week) they where in the same community tank but in a sectioned off portion that only these two discus where in. The eggs lasted 2 days before they dissappeared. There where about 6 or so eggs that had turned white and the rest where still clearish - I took this all but the 6 or so eggs where fertilized. Obviously this last time one or both of the parents where the egg eater(s). They are very skedish even for discus. I think if they are put into tank with no tank mates they will figure out how to be good parents. I believe they are currently 10 months old. So they are obviously a very young pair. $200 for the pair.

4 Web Leopard Discus - Almost full grown. 10 months old. I believe there is one pair out of these 4 but I don't know for sure. Sexes unknown. I prefer these be sold as a group as I'm pretty sure there is a pair amongst the 4 - $300 for all 4

2 Blue Turquise Discus - 2 years old. HUGE. These guys are 2 of the biggest discus I've seen. I purchased / resqued them from a LFS in August 05 when they where barely 1 inch in size. One is a male the other is unknown. $80 each

Blue Snakeskin Discus- 2 years old. Guesstimate 4 to 4.5in. Came from Cary Strong. Female. Has mated unsuccessfully with the male blue turquise, but their breeding attempts where few and far between and I just ended up puting them both back into the community tank. $70

Red Marlboro Discus - 1 year old. Guesstimate 3in. Came from Cary Stong. This guy is obviously a runt. He / she is beautiful but very thin and hasn't looked extremely healthy for about a month. Sex unknown. I do want something for this guy but finding a good home is more important than money. Price determined by type of home.

Tangerine Discus - Age unknown. Purchased it fully grown this past spring at the Motor City Aquarium Auction from Rift Valley Aquatics. Guesstimate size 5in. Female. Has breed with Brown discus listed below. Laid eggs only once for me a community tank on the front glass. Eggs did hatch and their where wigglers which promptly fell off the glass and into the substrate - never to be seen again. $75

Brown Discus - Age unknown. Purchased it fully grown this past spring at the Motor City Aquarium Auction from Rift Valley Aquatics. Guesstimate size 5.5in. Male. Has breed with Tangerine discus listed above. Laid eggs only once for me a community tank on the front glass. Eggs did hatch and there where wigglers which promptly fell off the glass and into the substrate - never to be seen again. $70

Blue Diamond Discus - SOLD

All the Angles I have came from various Detroit breeders that where selling at either the Motor City Auction or Greater Detroit Auction in the Spring of 07. All the angles I purchased at these auctions where dime to quarter size. I've raised them and some have paired off already.

Marble Angle Pair - LAYING EGGS AS I TYPE THIS MESSAGE. These two are machines pumping out a couple hundred eggs every 10 days or so. I just haven't been able to keep the babies alive longer than a few days after being free swimming - this is clearly my issue and not the fishes as I just haven't figured it out yet. Most of my problems lie around BBS hatching difficulties, seperating BBS and shells, fouling the water, over feeding, under feeding, etc.. If you know how to raise fry successfully you'll have more angles than you can deal with in a very short period of time. These 2 need thier own tank as the male is clearly a murder - any fish that gets near his gal gets killed. $80 for pair

Gold Angle Pair - These two aren't quite the machines that Marble angle pair are but they have been consistantly laying eggs every 2 to 3 weeks or so with each batch being around 100 eggs. I've had the same raising difficulties as with the Marble angle fry. $80 for pair

8 Marble Angles - Good size but still room to grow. Should be pairing off in the near future. $8 to $10 each

11 Gold Angles - Good size but still room to grow. Should be pairing off in the near future. $8 to $12 each.

5 Black Angles - Quarter size. Just got them. $5 each.

I'll also have more tanks and African cichlids for sale in the near future.
