Hey,

I just picked up a couple of aurantimaculata and they have seemed to have paired up. I am not overly experienced with Channa. So, I was wondering if anyone knew anything about breeding these guys?
I haven't found any info on breeding them, so I would assume they haven't been bred before?
Even if you could give me some info on breeding similar species.

Thank you,

Justin Morash

Hi.........

Michael is a friend of mine (he lives about 30 km far from me)
He has done 2 breedings yet.........
Unfortunatly the first couple was in trouble ,so the male died!

I could give him my last aurantimaculata.....and he was lucky that they liked each other!

so the new couple was formed out of his old female and my male!

He has them in a garden pond during summer time!

They have a size of about 45cm ,now!

Cheers Pascal

Hey Pascal,

Thats what I thought, I was with the understanding that one of the parents died. I just didn't know he got them to breed again! cool.gif
