Leptobotia elongata (Royal Clown Loach). This is a 2" baby...hope he grows into a 24"+ monster loach!

I saw those royal clown loaches listed by Wes ... I so badly wanted to get some. Very, very, very, very nice. smile.gif That black-bar just takes the breath away. He looks raspberryfied!

I'm sure you are (rightly so) most proud of that daughter, though. They grow up too quick, eh?

I can't believe how fast she is growing up!!

Yeah, I have wanted those loaches so bad for a while... when wes got them I just begged my wife and explained to her how rare they are, etc. You have no idea how bad I wanted to by the 8" ones... but a little too rich for my blood!! But when my wife say the little in plain silver fish, she said "I cannot believe you paid $250 for that... there is something wrong with you"

and I just wanna say guys, those frehwater blennies are the COOLEST FISH .... I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM. They aren't expensive really and they just are the funniest, coolest little fish if you have a small tank to set up for them. I had 3 in a 10gal fine (with lots of hiding places). they beg for food like dogs and eat out of your fingers (and have a mean little bite)... and the are super active and cute. They are the best thing since sliced bread. Wes still has a few I think. Its another fish I was looking for for a couple years at least... just because they are so weird and cool!

I hear you! A friend of mine got one of the 8"'ers. Big cash but an amazing fish.

That red SD does stand out in your big tank, Steve! The pike is a looker, too. Marissa has grown a lot since you posted pics of her. She's doing a fine job of taking fish pics for a 4 yr old. I think she'll give Ed, ashdavid, Seichii, CDM and amiidae some competition when she starts posting fish pics. biggrin.gif

awesome collection. Thanks for sharing.

There's a red yawning fish, behind the SD in the upper right hand corner. What kind of fish is that? Color looks interesting, can't make out what it is.

that fish is just my snook. Instead of being a nice orang (which I wanted) its more of a washed out pink / peach color... my daughter says its pink. So kind of a weird color.

and that tank is 720 gal +/-. the blennies are in a 55 gal, the loach in a 10 gal by himself and the AUL / DOLPHIN in a 110gal. I forgot to take pics of my long arm prawn... he is getting large and in charge. snagging $20 red congoes left and right!...

Steve, is that an mbu puffer next to your pike cichlid? (I had to add "mbu" and "cichlid" because "Is that a puffer next to your pike" sounded kinda pornographic.) tongue.gif

not active... likes to hide. TINY so I think he is in "prey" mode... afraid of getting eaten. Basically, nothing lke a clown loach, way more of a "lay on the bottom" fish.

Eating frozen bloodworms.
