Hey,

I have been looking at getting a group of Barca for quite some time now. I have cut my collection down to pretty much only rays, asian arowana, and a couple pairs of channa species, so I have lots of money, lots of space and I think they would be the perfect addition to my collection.

I have located a few in the past year, but every time I try to buy them they have already been sold. Does anyone know if there are any out there for sale at the time being?

Thank you,

Justin Morash

Where do you live? I have six, and if you give me a little time to think I might sell you one of mine. But, they are not cheap.

Hi,Ashdavid..........

Iam not interested in barca at the moment............no space!
I have over 25 other species of Channa at home!
That is enough for the moment!
I will get barca if I want them....some day...............I can wait! wink.gif

Cheers

Hey,

I just emailed my distributor, he told me he can get me some for $1500 each. So I'm considering getting one or two and then trying to sex them.... With other species of snake head with the same general body shape like aurantimaculata and pulchra, I found it fairly easy to sex them. So let's hope it's as easy with Barca... But anyways, if I can sex them and if it turns out that I have what I believe to be male/female, I may get one more female, if it is male/male I will sell one, get a couple of females, and if it's female/female I will keep them and maybe buy a male.

Anyways I may take you up on that offer Ashdavid, thank you.

I will post some pics of my pair of Aurantimaculata soon.

Thanks,

Justin Morash
