I have to admit this is by far the best FISH store in Portland.
They don't necessary have what I want, but if I want ideas this is the place to go. WS has the biggest selection of fish, and that is saying without Saltwater fish!

As far as price goes, you can get them elsewhere for 1/3 of the cost.
Paul and Glen usually special orders them for me.

Anywho, WS is by far the best fish store to visit if you are in PDX.

10G - Planted tank!
I am fish free as of today! Hopefully I stay this way.

I am from WA but I visit Wet Spot frmo time to time.
Want to mention that they have a good selection of books.
Basically I like the cleanliness and neatness of the whole shop.

yeah, i was in there last week with my friend and saw a beautiful fahaka(i think that's how you spell it, i'm not bi on puffers) puffer. They also had a 1" jardini that was pretty cool because it was a mini aro. Great store with great fish. I'll definitely go back again.

each time i've been in there, theyve had 2 or 3 types of rays. I'm not sure which types because i'm not a ray guy, i just look int he tank and go 'ooooo, ahhhhhh'. They have lots of oddballs though, and they have expertise in fishkeeping, that's what you can't beat.

I forgot to mention...
When we were driving around trying to find the wet spot (as we took the wrong street and went for a "short round trip" around the wet spot) I saw some aquarium store just down the street from this place... I remember where it was,,, well know how to get there... Just dont know any of the details anymore...

Has anyone been to the wet spot recently? I ask because they have the biggest fire eel I have ever seen in my ife in there. Very impressive. I kind of pissed off one of the employees when I asked for 15 dollars worth of feeders.
