i have 4 orinos and 6 monos... trying to pick one pair of each species... this is proving difficult as they are all stunning!

i dont really use the mercury vapours very often... they are 125w dennerle trocal bulbs.. i mainly use just groliux 36w tubes there are currently three tubes on there.. these imo show the colours of the fish more naturally than the mv bulbs...

i love the big mono.. he's gonna be awesome when he's 18" but i have a real soft spot for the orinos.. the colour just gets better and better on them...

how can you choose between them though??!!

since i've taken the dorado out the tank is quite peaceful... there's the occasional chase about from the tapajos pikes but they dont take much notice of the hoplarchus...

WOW!!!!!!! This is the set up i was going for!!!! I hope my ocells, monos, orinos (columbian) grow-outs turn out to be like yours! I just need to get rid of my venny pike and get 2 atabapos instead. May i ask where you got your crennys from? Also, what are they? Xingu II?
