I have an empty 55 gallon tank. I was thinking of getting a ray but would like to get one that doesn't grow to large or stays fairly small. Can you guys suggest some species or two? Some thing that is really nice and has i guess some personality. This would be my first Ray so i don't know if what i am saying can be found. biggrin.gif

Thanks for all your help.

Hi JA, I'm afraid that the 13" width of a 55 gallon tank will not house any ray that will stay fairly small. The minimum size tank you could put a ray in is a tank that is 2' wide. That would be at least a 180.

I did not know that but I do thank you very much for your comment. I am glad i did not buy on impulse. I would have felt really bad putting this poor thing in an inadequate environment. Thank you very much.
