Nice! Brings back some old memories. When I lived in Tacoma, I used to ski at Crystal Mountain and hike up Mt. Rainier, but only up to 10,000 ft, not the 14,400 or so foot summit. I have fond memories of putting cables on the back of my 69 Karmann-Ghia. smile.gif

These were taken off I-90 between North Bend and Snoqualmie. I actually live in Enumclaw (pretty much the last "town" before Crystal on 410).

It's gotten so expensive for a lift ticket, and so crowded I don't go anymore. Just bought some snowshoes this year, much more enjoyable.

Fantastic vistas. I have fond memories of my visit some years ago.

Thanks for sharing those great shots. Keep shooting with that D60!

I thought that was a different view than I recalled. dry.gif Years ago, I broke a clutch cable in Enumclaw on the way back from Crystal and drove my car the rest of the way to Tacoma doing clutchless shifts. laugh.gif

No kidding! laugh.gif Tacoma was a ROUGH town back in the early 1990s. I used to work as an intern for a law office in the Hilltop. We'd have to deal with pimps, prostitutes, drunks pissing on our building and passing out behind the bushes, vandalism, and stray gunfire. sad.gif
